Santa Maria Joint Union Home School is a program designed to support students and families who desire an interactive student-parent-teacher partnership. Parents and students are provided educational resources and a mentor teacher. Students may qualify to enroll in community college courses in addition to their regular secondary class schedule.
Santa Maria Joint Union Home School supports home schooling families so that students develop the academic, personal, social skills, and qualities of lifelong learners. The school’s philosophy is based on the belief that children grow and learn in different ways. The educational path for secondary students in grades 9-12 is fashioned around each student’s individual needs, goals and interests. A key element of the school is the availability of resources, networks, and parent involvement.
